Troop 31 Uniform Requirements

All scouts should strive to be in full Class A uniform at every meeting, unless noted on the calendar.

Full Class A Uniform Includes:

• BSA Shirt with appropriate badges and insignia (see the Handbook)
• BSA Shorts or Pants
• BSA Belt
• Troop 31 Neckerchief
• Neckerchief Slide
• BSA Socks
• Shoes (hiking boots or athletic shoes)

Class B Uniform

We will supply each scout with a Troop tee shirt, which replaces the scout shirt and neckerchief in the Class B uniform.

Equipment for Camping

Your son will need some equipment for hiking and camping, particularly:

• A good, rugged pair of hiking boots
• Rain gear
• Sleeping bag

We will discuss what equipment is necessary during meetings prior to each outing. You need not purchase official Boy Scout equipment.
